Accommodation
Our new waterfront home at Broad Bay on Otago peninsula is situated with sweeping views of the harbour, midway between the city and the albatross colony. The house is both comfortable and full of character, as we have collected many interesting bits and pieces from our various filming locations around the world. We have separate rooms downstairs for our guests, with their own bathroom or ensuite. Both rooms opening onto a deck. In the evenings, after a day out on the peninsula you can sit around our rustic hand carved old Indian dinning table and feast on Pacific style food, watch wildlife documentaries, read or just enjoy the sweeping harbour views. Its like a dinner party every night with the flow of animated conversation and laughter. If there is a chill in the air we will be relaxing around the fire or better still, on the deck under the umbrella and the stars on our balmy summer nights. Our library which is available to guests, is full of interesting film making / wildlife / photography books, DVDs and artefacts from our filming trips around the world. The Captains Suite: $195 per night The Cabin Room: $175 per night Dinners: when available $40 per head Peninsula Day Trips: So if this sounds like you, don't wait any longer there is a special welcome awaiting where you can relax and enjoy yourself at the Beach House, with Christine, Robert, Kelly the blond Labrador and Digby the cairn terrier.
